(Didn't realize someone had necroed this old post of mine, so actually commented on it myself before realizing I was the OP. Also, in the end I kept the primal and did the paragon dancing of swapping the movement speed when changing specs. Finally found a Primal bow this season - Demon Hunter - Diablo 3 Forums Diablo 3 Forums Finally found a Primal bow this season DTMAce-1687 After many seasons looking for Primals for my DH, and usually getting none for the entire season, my first drop was a pair of Hell Walkers I was shocked. Edited as I had mixed the secondaries on the two items. My question: Is it worth swapping to the primal or should I stay with the ancient one? If I swap, should I stick with movement speed/paragons, or go for Armor or Life per Kill instead? 11% recovery (due to not getting the health globe secondary) 4.1% toughness (slightly less if accounting for paragons as well, haven't bothered) +0,6% damage (up to 1,6% if keeping movement and changing paragons accordingly) Given my almost 1000 paragons and 1.955k sheet dmg, I would get the following changes if equipping the primal one: Secondary: (+210 lightning resist and +gold) Completing all 26 of these tasks, along with sacrificing 6 Primal Ancients. It requires you to farm Bounties, kill the Ubers, craft the Staff of Herding, and more. (no augments applied, as it's mainly an offspec for running GR85-95) Season 28 brings a brand new progression feature called the Altar of Rites that grants tremendous powers to your entire account in exchange for sacrifices. So I got this nice 'problem' with a decent primal Shadow's Heel dropping, but I already have an okey:ish ancient.
